"As one of the most consistently coveted faces in the industry Kasia Struss is a permanent fixture on the runways of Paris. Though she’s already a pro when it comes to the modeling, Kasia still retains the same freshness she had when she debuted - see this season’s campaigns for Chloe and Mulberry if you have any doubts. During couture week MDC’s own Eric Sposito traveled with Kasia as she headed to shows and he caught a glimpse of the private Kasia - his candid portraits capture the vitality and sense of humor that have made Kasia so beloved in fashion circles" -Models.com

Do It Yourself

(Current/Elliot jeans and jacket, Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent embroidered cut-out dress, Elizabeth and James shirt)

A few months ago I was searching for an internship and came across an add for Planet Blue... Needless to say I didn't take it seriously... Keeping this in mind as I sat at my laptop last night catching up on blogs I had missed while in New York over the weekend I was surprised to see that BleachBlack had mentioned them... I checked it out and found a few cute things I'll make as soon as I have some spare time -and I'll be sure to post pictures.

La Roux Crush

I kinda think I'm growing a crush on La Roux..  Freja, I still love you... But can you sing?  In Roux's recent single, In For The Kill, her innocent vocals on top of the deep beat combined to make a killer track.  We’re kept in suspense until the last minute were things really take off.

Jumpsuits and Buns

Okay.  I know if I put my hair up in a bun and went out (with friends -to a social event) in a nice outfit I would get strange looks... But I'm trying to promise myself that I'll venture outside of my comfort zone one of these days and do it.  Yesterday I had enough guts to wear a pair of stone-washed skinny jeans with a Hanes tanktop and Dior booties with a loose black sweater and my hair pulled back in a bun... But I was eating dinner with my grandpa and his girlfriend... Does not count.  Baby steps, baby steps...

ALSO.  I have two jumpers that I got last year from Scoop.  Absolutely beautiful.  They look Indian-esque.  One is fuchsia and the other is light brown.  They are making a debut this weekend when I hit NYC, I can promise you that much.

60 Thompson LES

Last month I had the pleasure of staying at the new 60 Thompson in the Lower East Side. Now to be honest I hated the location. After all, who enjoys the Lower East Side? Despite the long cab rides, however, the location happened to be a minor detail... I'm thankful that New York cabs take credit cards these days. The hotel itself was trendy, obviously, but more importantly the rooms were very reasonable priced and spacious -something which rarely happens in the city. I would definitely recommend the hotel for a weekend getaway. I smiled when I saw this (along with one another article) on the W website.

PRIM MAGAZINE

I just found out about this magazine. From what I know it was created by Kristin Prim, a student at FIT in New York. I'm pretty impressed.  Here's a preview of this months issue:
